Established in 2015 through a collaboration between the Rajasthan Forest Department, Jaipur Development Authority, and Rajasthan Tourism, Hathigaon serves as a sustainable sanctuary for elephants rescued from exploitative industries such as logging, circuses, and unethical tourism.
